Mission Statement

The mission of Making A Way Housing, Inc. is to provide safe, affordable housing for individuals in the Atlanta ares affected by homelessness and alcohol and substance abuse as well as those affected by HIV/AIDS.

Vision
Our vision is to drastically reduce the rate of homelessness and active addiction in the Atlanta area and to ensure that our community is educated and compassionated toward individuals living with HIV.

What does Making A Way do?

Making A Way Housing, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides affordable housing for residents who want to live in a drug and alcohol free community. Many of our residents are recovering from substance abuse or have been plagued by homelessness and/or HIV. All of our residents have chosen a drug-free lifestyle.

We are partially funded through grants and donations to provide safe, affordable residential rental units.

Our Goal
Our goal is to provide a safe, drug and alcohol free environment and a stable living community to rebuild in. We are strive to improve the environmental factors that contribute to homelessness, substance abuse and HIV.
Our Beliefs
We believe that no addict dedicated to recovery should live with the stigma of active addiction and that no member of our community should feel alienated by our efforts to rebuild and strengthen lives.

Our Community is Supportive of
-Residents seeking a drug and alcohol free living environment.
-Residents who live the 12 steps.
- Residents who seek to maintain employment and regain self sufficiency
